A NOTE ABOUT SHIPPING

Due to the live, raw, and fragile nature of our products, there are a lot of nuances involved in shipping long distances. Please read the Shipping Policy below for details. 

If you are interested in placing a shipping order, please email us (preferably) at info@farmsteadferments.com. You may also call 434-286-3302 between 10am and 4pm EST Tuesday - Saturday.

SHIPPING POLICY

Yes, we are happy to ship your Farmstead Ferments goodies to your doorstep! Our most recent flavors are listed on our website at: https://farmsteadferments.com/current-flavors

To avoid the possibility of your order sitting at the post office over a weekend, we only ship on Tuesdays or Wednesdays.

Please note that due to fluctuations in temperature during shipping, your products could possibly start fermenting again, which might cause puffy lids, fizzy product inside the jar, and maybe even product bubbling and oozing outside of the jar. This is a natural reaction to warming temperatures and your product has not gone bad or spoiled. Should this occur, simply “burp” the jars by loosening the lids, ideally over a sink or bowl, and letting the built-up CO2 escape. Then refrigerate and enjoy.

SHIPPING & HANDLING RATES

If you order 1 – 6 jars, they will come in a medium flat rate box from the USPS and the shipping and handling will cost $22.10

If you order 7 – 9 jars, they will come in a large flat rate from the USPS and the shipping and handling will cost $27.80

NOTE: THESE PRICES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE, AS PER THE USPS CURRENT RATES.

If you are interested in having an order shipped to you, please send an email to info@farmsteadferments.com with your order, as well as your shipping address. We will let you know the total, then you can make your payment via Paypal or call us with your credit card during our hours of operation (Tu - Sa 10 - 4). Further instructions for paying with Paypal will be provided to you at that time.
